Limited Modified #9 (6 sub-boards) Bennie Everhart was the first driver / owner of a SIMS Limited Modified in the DFW area. This was shortly before the very first SIMS season started in 2002. He finished 6th overall in the inaugural year of that class in 2002. In his 2nd year with SIMS, Everhart finished 3rd overall in 2003 & was a SIMS track champion. In both 2004 & 2005 he was 9th in SIMS national points. In 2006 Bennie finished 3rd in overall SIMS points & 2nd in track points at two different SIMS tracks. He is now the only driver who has been in the top 10 in SIMS national points every single year since SIMS began. As a matter of fact, as of 2007, Bennie is the ONLY original member of SIMS who is still racing SIMS.
